Dr Chesworth is an Honorary Research Fellow at St. Stephen's House, Oxford, and has spent four years as editor of  for Network for Inter faith Concerns (NIFCON), now the Anglican Inter-faith Network (AIFN). 

Biography

From 2008 he worked at the , an Independent Research Centre in Oxford, where he spent four years running the weekly work-in-progress seminar programme and establishing the library.

Previously he co-developed the MA and Post-Graduate Diploma courses in Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations at St. Paul’s United Theological College (now St. Paul’s University), Limuru, Kenya. At St Paul's he was a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of Postgraduate Courses in Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations, teaching courses on Islam in Africa, Christian-Muslim Relations and Islamic Theology.

He has been an Associate Member of Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies, University of Bayreuth and continues as joint editor with Dr. Franz Kogelmann, University of Bayreuth, of the online publication series .
