I have worked at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø since 2000. I have been involved in various Presessional and Insessional programmes. Most recently, I have had coordination responsibilities for the summer Presessional programmes.

  • BA (Hons) Social Science (Economics & History)
  • TEFLQ teaching status
  • RSA CTEFLA

Biography

I have over 20 years English language teaching experience, working in a wide variety of contexts, including private language schools in the UK and abroad, further education institutions, and many years of EAP here at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

During my time at UoB, I have designed, coordiatated, and taught on a wide range of insessional, Presessional, foundation, and Teacher-training programmes.

Academic interests

My main teaching-related interests include materials writing for EAP courses, syllabus design, and ensuring that students are adequately prepared before, and supported during, their academic programme.
