Her research is focused on the development of in-situ mass spectrometry methods to study tumours and cancer therapeutics. Qualifications PhD in Structural Mass Spectrometry, University College London, 2024 MChem in Chemistry, University of Manchester, 2020 Biography Sarah joined the Cooper group in 2024 as a research fellow in mass spectrometry. She has an interest in studying proteins’ structure and function directly from tissue. Her current research is focused on developing LESA and nano-DESI methods to study cancer therapeutics and tumour structures. She obtained her PhD from UCL where her research focused on developing ion mobility mass spectrometry techniques to characterise the misfolding of alpha 1 antitrypsin, a protein associated with liver and lung disease.
