In 2019, Olga graduated from the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø with a degree in Biomedical Materials Science. Her final year project focused on developing resorbable calcium phosphate cements for bone replacement.
Later that year, she began her PhD within the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø as part of the Ultrasurge project. Olga worked on a novel in vitro model of ultrasonic treatment of osteoblasts on titanium surfaces, exploring the effects of therapeutic ultrasound on osteogenic gene expression.
In 2024, she started a postdoctoral position in the 3D Tissue Mimics group. Her research focuses on creating a 3D organotypic model of oral mucosa, aiming to reduce the reliance on animal testing in drug development.
