Dr Teng Zhang works on the research and development of the techniques and the advanced interferometer configurations for improving the sensitivity of gravitational wave detectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Astronomy, Beijing Normal University, 2015

Biography

After studying astronomy as an undergraduate student in Beijing Normal University, Teng moved to the University of Glasgow in 2015 and obtained the PhD degree in 2019. He then worked as a Prize Postdoctoral Fellow in the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø until 2022, and as a postdoc in the Maastricht university until 2023. He rejoined the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø as an Assistant Professor in 2023.
